My cat survived the attack on Hogwarts. I didn't expect it, honestly, but she is a wiley creature. She found me at my temporary living arrangements, and deposited a dead rabbit at my feet. I guess I've not gotten too old to be pleasantly surprised.

Never will I understand why students choose holidays to cause disruptions. Why doesn't it occur to them that they'd be far less likely to get caught if they chose to drink on a day when the staff doesn't expect it, and isn't on the lookout?
